Helicopters
Rotorcraft present problems fixed-wing does not, and they are not solved by working faster.
A helicopter is a dense package of tightly spaced mechanical assemblies with far less forgiving access than an airframe. The rotor head, swashplate, tail boom, skids and vents all sit where a careless wash sends water and product exactly where neither belongs.
What this class needs
- Rotor head and mast area cleaned without driving product into bearings or seals
- Tail boom, tail rotor and drive shaft areas
- Skids, steps and float or gear assemblies
- Cabin, harnesses and rear-facing seating with appropriate chemistry
- Rooftop and confined helipad work where staging space is minimal
