Turbine singles and twins that work hard, fly often, and stain in ways jets do not.
Turboprops present a problem jets largely do not: exhaust. Turbine exhaust tracks along the nacelle and aft fuselage in a way that ordinary washing reduces temporarily and never actually corrects. They also carry more polished metal than most jets, which is where the visual payoff is.
What this class needs
- Exhaust staining along nacelles and aft fuselage, properly corrected rather than lightened
- Substantial brightwork — spinners, nacelles, stacks and leading edges
- Prop blades and hubs cleaned without disturbing balance tape or markings
- Cabins that carry family, cargo and occasionally pets
- Belly and gear work on aircraft that use unpaved and remote strips
