Standards
The part of the job
nobody photographs.
How a crew behaves on your ramp and in your hangar matters as much as how the aircraft looks when they leave. These are the standards every job runs to.
Insurance & liability
Aviation-specific coverage appropriate to working on and around client aircraft. Certificate of insurance provided on request, direct to your procurement or risk team.
Ramp & airside discipline
FOD awareness and tool control on every job. Covers and masking accounted for on a checklist at handover — nothing is left on the aircraft. PPE, badge and escort requirements observed as the airport requires.
Material compatibility
Products selected for the surface in front of us: aniline versus pigmented leather, veneer by lacquer type, acrylic windows, composite panels, de-ice boots and plated metal. Automotive chemistry is not applied blindly to aircraft.
Sensor & surface protection
Static ports, pitot tubes, probes, vents and antennas covered before work begins and verified clear before we leave. Adjacent surfaces masked during correction and polishing.
Hangar & facility conduct
Floors protected, equipment staged and organised, workspace left exactly as we found it. Our conduct in your hangar reflects on you as much as on us.
Environmental & runoff
Wash-water and runoff handled to the airport's environmental requirements. Dry and rinse-less methods used where water use is restricted rather than treated as a compromise.
Condition documentation
Condition photographed before and after. Anything that looks like it warrants a mechanic's attention is photographed and reported rather than cleaned past.
Privacy & discretion
Tail numbers, owner identities, schedules and photographs are treated as confidential. Nothing is published without written permission, and we do not discuss one client's aircraft with another.
Our FBO serves owners and crews who expect a high level of service. When we recommend a detailing provider, that company reflects on us as well. Their staff is polished, respectful, safety-conscious and comfortable operating in a professional airport environment.
Equipment was organised, floors were protected, and the workspace was left as clean as they found it. Their professionalism extended beyond the aircraft itself.
