The questions operators actually ask before booking — cost, insurance, surface safety, and what we will tell you we cannot do.
Common questions
Everything we get asked
How much does aircraft detailing cost?
We quote rather than publish prices, because condition, access, aircraft size and deadline change the number substantially. A light jet exterior wash and a large-cabin restoration are not the same job. Send the tail, airport and what you need and you will get a written quote against a written scope.
Are you insured, and can I get a certificate?
Yes. We carry aviation-specific coverage appropriate to working on and around client aircraft, and we provide a certificate of insurance on request, direct to your procurement or risk team.
Which airports do you serve?
PDK, RYY, ATL, FTY and LZU across Metro Atlanta, plus private strips and corporate hangars by arrangement. We are expanding into Virginia and the Washington DC region.
Do you work around our flight schedule?
That is the core of how we operate. We work around fuelling, catering, maintenance and crew, seven days a week including Sunday, with 24/7 dispatch for moved departures and AOG situations.
Will you damage sensitive surfaces?
Products are selected for the surface in front of us — aniline versus pigmented leather, veneer by lacquer type, acrylic windows, composites, de-ice boots and plated metal all want different chemistry. Static ports, probes and sensors are covered before work begins and verified clear before we leave.
Will the cabin smell of chemicals afterwards?
No. If a cabin smells strongly of anything after a detail, something was done wrong. We treat odour at its source rather than masking it with fragrance.
Will the leather end up greasy or over-shiny?
No. Over-conditioning is the most common damage we see on aircraft leather. We clean, condition to the original sheen, and stop. If your leather is already tacky from previous over-treatment, we can strip that back.
Can you handle dark or faded paint without making it worse?
Dark schemes show every swirl, which is why they need a careful multi-stage process rather than one aggressive pass. We assess the paint and its history before committing, and tell you what is achievable rather than promising a finish the paint cannot support.
Will you upsell me work I do not need?
No. Most of the damage we are asked to correct was caused by a vendor who said yes to everything. If your aircraft does not need paint correction, we will tell you it does not need paint correction.
Do you work discreetly around high-profile passengers?
Yes. Tail numbers, owner identities, schedules and photographs are treated as confidential. We coordinate with authorised personnel only and do not discuss one client's aircraft with another.
Will you leave our hangar clean?
Floors protected, equipment organised, workspace left exactly as found. Several of our longest relationships started because of how the crew behaved in the hangar rather than how the aircraft looked.
Can you service multiple aircraft in one window?
Yes. Multi-aircraft windows are routine for our fleet and management-company clients. Each aircraft gets its own scope and its own documentation rather than being treated as a batch.
Is exhaust staining permanent?
Usually not. Most exhaust and belly staining improves substantially. Long-standing staining that has etched into the finish may not come back entirely, and we will tell you that before starting rather than after.
How far in advance should I book?
For routine and recurring work, a few days is comfortable. For rush, AOG and moved departures, call dispatch — same-day is often achievable within Metro Atlanta.
Not answered here?
Call dispatch and ask. You will get a real answer rather than a callback form.
